Getting Published – Publishing Your Book

Amazon Tags – Your Books on Amazon

For those of you who have expressed confusion over the whole tagging issue, I shall quickly explain it.  The reason a tag only shows up sometimes is that it has to be made by a buyers account on Amazon.  ie: An Amazon account that has made at least one purchase.  So when you go to outsource your tagging, make sure that you only use outsource workers with buyer accounts.

Provided the Amazon account has made a purchase the tags made will count towards your search engine visibility within Amazon book listings.

Yes I understand what you mean, but I want new authors to have a chance of competing with the big boys and they wont do this fighting fair.

If I release a title nowadays I can throw quite a bit of money behind the PR. A new author cannot do this, so I want to show them how they can at least show up in the Amazon search results and have a fighting chance of making a sale.

  2. I guess I agree with what you are saying although I don’t want too :p
